Who we are and What we're about
In a nutshell, here at Wizzafest we're all about family fun, great music and raising money to support Macmillan Cancer Support. So grab a cup of tea, sit down and have a read about what we're about. If you can, please share this post so your friends can know about the great work that we do.
You may have seen our posts popping up on your Facebook page and may be unsure what it is that we do. We're now a biannual festival which takes place in Bromsgrove, West Midlands. Our Wizzafest team is made up of volunteers who each give up their time to support a great cause. Our musicians and performers also volunteer their time to provide great music and entertainment for our festival fans.
We love to promote bands and musicians that are both experienced and for those who aren't, we're all about providing opportunities for performers who are just starting out. At Wizzafest we also love to promote local businesses and to provide a platform for hobbyists to showcase their talents. We're a family festival that hosts fun activities during the weekend that are aimed for both adults and children. During the festival weekend, a variety of food and drink stalls are readily available in between the festival antics, we like to support local catering businesses in the area as well as providing our festival attendees with great food.
Wizzafest also promotes the great work that Macmillan Cancer Support does. We provide a platform for the Macmillan charity to raise funds and to help make a difference to people who have been affected by Cancer. Wizzafest also welcomes holistic therapies to our festival for those who want to learn more and try alternative methods to help their treatment.
Although Wizzafest is a small community, we are all part of a much wider alliance of those affected by cancer and those raising money to beat it. We're all trying to reach the same goal of fighting Cancer and that's why we support those affected as much as we can. We would like to ask our Wizzafest family to support a lady named Amy who has set up a JustGiving page. Amy is raising money to support her holistic fight. Whether you can share the link or donate, any support would be appreciated.
